If you purchased a ticket prior to March 17 and attended our event, you will be receiving a Chandler's Crabhouse $20 gift card with your thank you note to be sent by mail in the upcoming weeks. The gift card is a donation from Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. Congratulations to our Talent Show Winners: Jessica Swenson, Grand Prize Winner, Group Health and John Chambers, Runner Up, Umpqua Bank We want to thank you for participating in our Talent Show Gala/Auction this year. It is only as a result of the commitment and generosity of our guests and supporters that we are able to offer scholarships and provide much-needed funds for our school. This year we raised $108,000 for our school, its programs and its scholarship fund. Engaging our greater community and having the support of our area companies and their representatives has made a significant difference for us. Many of our Talent Performers have cd's available for purchase. Please see your Evening Program for details or check back here for updated information about contacting our talent performers for your next event. This year we celebrated our 32nd anniversary of changing lives for students who otherwise were not successful in school and of training teachers in best practices. It is because of you, our donors, that we raised $86,000 for our school last year and were able to offer scholarships and provide funding for much needed materials. All funds generated go directly to support the school, its programs, and its scholarship fund. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax ID 91-1183562, non-profit 501 (c) 3. On March 23 we welcomed community partners and neighbors and our own greater school community to attend an Adult Music Talent Show/Auction, hosted by Brad Goode, KOMO 4 TV News, the culinary delights of Tom Douglas, and great fun. We held the event in the neighborhood at 415 Westlake. Our sponsors gained exposure for their organizations by supporting us. Morningside Academy fulfills a community service to educate children who may not have been successful in other school settings, who may hold a diagnosis of a learning disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or another disability.
